One Night…Nine-Month Scandal
One Night Nine-Month Scandal by Sarah Morgan
by Sarah Morgan

Alekos Zagorakis can’t believe his eyes! The Zagorakis diamond is for sale on eBay! Surely this must be a mistake… and it’s one he intends to correct. Alekos gave the diamond to Kelly Jenkins four years ago and then failed to show up for the wedding. Kelly wants to finally move on but will Alekos be willing to let go for good? One night is about to bring all of their emotions to the forefront. Will love stand a chance?

Wow! Sarah Morgan does a phenomenal job at character development in ONE NIGHT… NINE-MONTH SCANDAL. Alekos and Kelly are polar opposites in their beliefs, but that doesn’t stop the attraction from hitting them both head on. Even time and distance hasn’t diminished their feelings for one another. Both have unresolved trauma in their pasts, however, and it’s a bumpy road for them to overcome. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud as they verbally sparred, and yet soon after I would tear up at moments such as the one involving the teddy bears. Sarah Morgan shows the true heart and soul of her characters, making for one heck of an emotional read.

It’s hard to make Alpha male characters who are strong, wealthy, and used to getting their way without them coming across as total jerks. Sarah Morgan handles this perfectly, as Alekos’ confusion over Kelly’s responses softens him so we can see the emotion underlying his behaviors. Quite frankly, I’m hoping to see both Alekos and Kelly again, perhaps in a book featuring Vivien!

ONE NIGHT…NINE-MONTH SCANDAL is a beautiful and emotionally intense tale. Sarah Morgan is to be commended for addressing such past emotional traumas and showing how they can affect a person’s adult relationships. Bravo!
