The Midwife’s Little
Miracle
by Fiona McArthur
4 Stethoscopes
Montana
never intended to be a single parent but the death of her husband has
changed everything. With the arrival of her new baby, Montana
realizes it’s time to slowly re-enter the world again. Dr. Andy
Buchanon is the brother of a good friend and he’s offering her a chance
to work as a midwife while balancing her new role as a mother.
Can love blossom between them as well?
Fiona McArthur pens a story that tugs at your heartstrings.
Montana’s grief is palpable, as events trigger memories of her
husband. The romance builds slowly and steadily, making it all
the more realistic. Andy and Montana both have past memories of love
and there are some bittersweet moments as each learns gradually to love
yet again. Fiona McArthur does a beautiful job at showing grief
over time as Montana’s reactions and thoughts exemplify the grief
process.
THE MIDWIFE’S LITTLE MIRACLE is an emotionally intense story that hits
on real-life issues. From Montana’s re-emergence into the world
to Emma’s challenges as an unwed teenager, the storyline tackles some
weighty and sensitive issues. Fiona McArthur handles each and
every scene with a delicate touch that heightens the emotional
impact. Bravo, Ms. McArthur, for a job well done!
