Liv Winchester is done with men and nothing her friend and coworker, Anna, can say will change that.  Stefano Lucarelli is more than used to women falling at his feet and so he’s surprised when Liv rejects his advances.  Does she really not see her own beauty, both inner and outer?  Liv’s focus is on her son, Max, but Stefano is determined to win her over.  Will this Christmas truly be a magical one for them all?

Liv is such a woman of contrasts.  Her quick thinking and skillful job performance are at odds with her complete lack of self esteem.  Stefano is used to women who thrive on praise and acclaim and Liv is a refreshingly honest change for him.  While Stefano provides Liv with some pampering, the pampering isn’t a makeover as Stefano doesn’t want to change a thing about Liv.  Rather, it is truly a moment for the heroine to recoup her self esteem and regain her self-confidence in her own beauty.  What a perfect picture of love- a hero devoting himself to letting the heroine’s light shine without trying to change her one bit!

Sarah Morgan incorporates the Christmas theme into the storyline of ITALIAN DOCTOR, SLEIGH-BELL BRIDE but I suspect this one will warm hearts no matter what the season!  ITALIAN DOCTOR, SLEIGH-BELL BRIDE is the sort of story that tugs at your heartstrings.  And oh, the ending, what can I say other than Max is precious?  Beautiful!
