Happy Valentine's Day, Mouse!

by Laura Numeroff
Illustrated by Felicia Bond

Mouse has many friends and wants to create Valentine’s Day cards for them all. He loves each of his friends for different reasons and shares that love with them on Valentine’s Day.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, MOUSE is part of the If You Give series featuring Mouse and his friends. Children will love the entertaining illustrations while parents will appreciate the message behind the story. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, MOUSE would be an excellent resource for teachers or group leaders to use around Valentine’s Day to demonstrate how everyone has different strengths and reasons to be appreciated. Laura Numeroff does a good job at pointing out that friends can be cherished even for not being good at things but just simply because they are a friend.
