The Devil Colony

by James Rollins
It
all started with the discovery of a hidden Native American site….
Painter Crow can’t resist the call for help, not this time. The trail
is going to lead him and the rest of the Sigma Force from a modern day
mystery all the way back to Thomas Jefferson. What secrets are in our
nation’s past? And just how does it all tie in with the environmental
global catastrophe occurring?
THE DEVIL COLONY is the seventh book in the Sigma Force series. While
there are reoccurring characters and an ongoing battle with the Guild,
THE DEVIL COLONY is a stand alone story. James Rollins does an
exceptional job at ensuring readers can jump right into the storyline
without any confusion.
What a fast paced adventure James Rollins takes us on! Conspiracies
from the past and present clash head on as Painter and the rest of the
team are on a race against time. It’s hard to say much about THE DEVIL
COLONY without revealing spoilers but suffice to say that James Rollins
takes the impossible in it and makes it seem both possible and
plausible. More importantly, he includes real life issues- such as
Grayson Pierce’s family struggles with Sundowner’s Syndrome/Alzheimer’s
Disease- that make the characters seem believable even in the midst of
all the chaos and conspiracies. Bravo!
