Lyon must find the Radiant if he is to save the Feral Warriors. As each day passes without the Radiant, the powers of Lyon and his fellow shape shifters wane. The Radiant is necessary to sustain life on earth for without her channeling energy to the Feral Warriors, the demonic draden would destroy both humans and Therians. Lyon believes Kara is his Radiant but there is just one tiny catch. All of this is news to Kara MacAllister who believes she is human as she’s never even heard of Therians, Feral Warriors, or a Radiant. Dark forces are at work, however, and soon Kara and Lyon find themselves hopelessly attracted to each other. Is it true love or some darker enchantment at work?

Pamela Palmer never disappoints as once again she has crafted an incredibly good dark fantasy tale! The world building in DESIRE UNTAMED is phenomenal as Pamela Palmer takes us into a world where magic, shape shifters, good and evil, and even other beings like the Therians are a part of the reality- and she makes it all seem so believable. Part of the magic to making DESIRE UNTAMED work is Kara’s own disbelief. Kara’s reactions resonate so clearly with the reader that it’s easy to accept the new boundaries of this world as she adjusts to them herself.

DESIRE UNTAMED is the first in a series and wow, what a fantastic start it is! Pamela Palmer incorporates every element needed to make this book a success as we have a superb dark fantasy world, a spunky but down to earth heroine, an Alpha male shape shifting hero, magic, and a dark twist of suspense. If you haven’t read any of Pamela Palmer’s prior books, then DESIRE UNTAMED is the perfect book to start with. Bravo!
