Bella and the Merciless Sheikh
One Night Nine-Month Scandal by Sarah Morgan
by Sarah Morgan

Bella Balfour is sick of the sand! Her father has sent her away to the Arabian desert without a spa, phone, or computer anywhere near. “Borrowing” a horse from the neighboring Sheikh’s stable seems like a much better plan than drinking one more herbal tea- that is, until she gets lost and passes out. Sheikh Zafiq Al-Rashid is an unlikely and furious rescuer. Worse yet, he seems immune to Bella’s charms. Or is he?

BELLA AND THE MERCILESS SHEIKH is part of a continuity series about the Balfour family but is easily read as a standalone story. Bella is a wild, impetuous heroine who longs for others to see her for who she is instead of “Bad Bella”. Zafiq is the perfect counterbalance to her with his tight grip on his emotions. Their romance is both fiery and passionate, as Zafiq and Bella learn to let go of their pasts and see the love growing between them.

Sarah Morgan always writes phenomenal tales and BELLA AND THE MERCILESS SHEIKH is no exception. The setting is an integral part of the storyline and she shows readers just how beautiful it truly can be. I’m not normally a fan of sheikhs or horses, but Sarah Morgan certainly made me one in this tale. I won’t give away any spoilers but suffice to say there is a scene near the end involving the stallion, Batal, that is simply stunning. Bravo, Sarah Morgan, for such a spectacular tale!
