Boleyn: Tudor Vampire
by Cinsearae S
Much
has been written about Anne Boleyn, both her life and her death. But
what about what happened to Anne after her death? Infuriated by the
accusations against her, Anne refuses to die, cursing God and vowing to
haunt her betrayers if only she could return from the grave. Anne’s
wish is granted and she returns… as BOLEYN: TUDOR VAMPIRE.
Cinsearae S. re-imagines the death of Anne Boleyn, giving readers a
glimpse into the anguish, fury, and sense of betrayal this often
maligned historical figure must have faced. One can’t help but feel a
bit of sympathy for Anne, a woman who had it all, gambled, and lost
everything. The revenge Cinsearae S. creates for Anne Boleyn seems
fitting for the amount of rage she must have felt at the multiple
betrayals of the court.
BOLEYN: TUDOR VAMPIRE is a graphic tale, as Anne’s methods of revenge
are quite shocking at times. Cinsearae S. does a great job at showing
us a different side of these historical figures but it is the sense of
atmosphere that truly makes this tale memorable. The lush, vivid
descriptions bring history to life in a way that I’m sure would have
made even King Henry VIII’s head roll! Bravo!
